I purchased the Sole E95 on September 27 of 2006. Delivery was right on target. (14 days) I purchased it directly from Sole for $1699. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. Not too bad considering I’m not experienced at building things. I purchased another unit several years back for about $600 which broke shortly thereafter and did not get much use from it.
After researching many of the machines out there, I chose to purchase this one due to a couple of reviews and an outstanding warranty. (Lifetime on frame, 5 years on parts and 2 years on labor). From the time I built it, I knew that it was a very solid piece of equipment. It is silky smooth and very quiet. After about a week, I started hearing a very faint clicking sound so I decided to try out there technical support dept. to see what they could suggest. They were very polite and helpful and immediately sent me a part and set up a date for someone to come out and take a look at it. The technician came and did a thorough check on the machine and it turns out that it was just a loose screw with a washer that was making the sound every time the flywheel turned. He tightened all the screws and the machine is working perfectly now. Although this was a minor problem, the fact that they backed up their warranty as good as they did says a lot about the reputation of this company. My wife and I are getting some great workouts with this machine. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent machine who is not looking to spend thousands for a solid elliptical.
